FREE ONLINE WEBINAR
Hosted by internationally acclaimed musician, educator, and neurodiversity advocate, Celia Craig, one of the world’s leading performers with synaesthesia.
Cross sensory perception. Why some musicians and artists experience it.
Pitch and tonal colour. Shape and movement in musical perception.
Why multi-sensory awareness can deepen creativity. How musicians access flow states.
I’ve spent my whole life trying to recapture and share synaesthesia’s unique flow with others.
I trained with Leonard Bernstein, who was also a synaesthete (someone who sees colour in music and reacts really quickly). Throughout my career in the world’s top concert halls and studios, from Abbey Road to Carnegie Hall, working alongside brilliant people, I realised something important: music wasn’t just my job. It was also my therapy: doing it well, with people at the top of their game, keeps me connected, focused, and in flow.
Now I want to tell you why synaesthesia matters. This neurodiversity is a unique way of sensing the world: as essential to human creativity as biodiversity is to a healthy planet. So I share not just my own experiences, music and stories, but also other synaesthetes to show why this hidden perspective deserves recognition and celebration.Â
Especially for anyone feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or anxious; music is a powerful, proven and natural way to reset and find motivation, resilience, creativity and connection, while coaching helps us uncover a clear path towards calm high performance and clarity of purpose.
